Battens Light
A slim batten system for wall, ceiling, and suspended ceiling applications, including curved surfaces. Available in batten profiles from 1.18"×0.98" to 1.57"×2.95", with corner and end batten options. Standard lengths of 16'9" and 21'4". Features an integrated LED holder profile option and a celloflex gasket system. Acoustic absorption coefficient of 0.2 — suitable for applications where sound performance matters. Suspended ceiling configuration is bending-tested to Class A/34.91 N/m² and wind-load tested to 149.1 mph.

A batten system for exterior facades and interior walls, suitable for both vertical and horizontal installation. Engineered for both aesthetic and structural performance, and adaptable to a wide range of architectural compositions. Available in five batten profiles — 2"×1.2", 2"×4", 2"×6", 2"×8", and 2"×4.33" — plus flat batten options in 4" and 6" widths. Standard lengths of 16'9" and 21'4". Wind-load tested to 149.1 mph, impact-tested to Category II, and structurally tested for balustrade load requirements.

ForMe Design products are made from 6060/6063-T5 extruded aluminum — 100% recyclable with an endless life cycle. Aluminum is one of the most inherently circular materials in the construction industry; recycled aluminum requires up to 95% less energy to produce than primary aluminum, and ForMe profiles are fully recoverable at end of life with no loss of material quality.
ForMe Design has achieved EPD certification — an independently verified Environmental Product Declaration documenting the full life cycle environmental impact of the product line, recognized by LEED and BREEAM certification programs.
A 15-year warranty on all factory-applied finishes across all three systems — Battens 50, Battens Light, and Skin Panels — ensures long-term performance and eliminates premature replacement, reducing embodied carbon over the building lifecycle.
